Win 100k FTM in prizes!

Are you a meme wizard? Can you explain difficult concepts in simple terms? Do you make sick videos? Are you an incredibly talented illustrator or designer?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then you’re in the right place. If not, worry not! You can tell your creative friends and still get rewarded!

As part of our commitment to Fantom, we decided to set aside part of the staking rewards for special events like this one and reward our fantastic community.

Create memes, videos, articles, infographics or any kind of content you think helps to bring Fantom to the moon. Those Link Marines with their memes are good, but we can do better. We want to see creativity, blood, sweat, and tears. You can earn awesome prizes, so it’ll be worth it.

Calling all Fantom marines!

Create content with the intent of explaining and illustrate Fantom. It must be easy to understand and easy to share. In a sentence, the theme is “Educational content about Fantom.”

Type of content

Medium articles, minimum 600 words on a specific topic. The article must be well-formatted and even better if it uses graphics.
They can be technical articles, or a comparison with other projects, or a particular feature that interests you about Fantom and you think others should know about.
Videos and motion graphics. Moving images are probably the best way to explain hard concepts.
Memes. We know how important memes are. Show us what you can do! We really like those video memes where you put other people’s faces in a movie. But also we like all the memes. Surprise us with something that will melt Link Marines faces. And yes, you can invite them too, as long as the content is about Fantom.
Infographics. Nothing beats a clear infographic.
Illustrations and digital art. Go crazy! Make something beautiful that conveys a message about Fantom, or explains some challenging concepts.
Websites and web apps. Do you want to make a website or a web app, go ahead!

Prizes

🥇 1st place: 50,000 FTM

🥈 2nd place: 37,500 FTM

🥉 3rd place: 12,500 FTM

4️⃣ 4th place: 100% discount for 6 months on staking with us (you pay 0% staking fees, vs. the usual 15%)

5️⃣ 5th place: 50% discount for 6 months on staking with us (you pay 7.5% staking fees, vs. the usual 15%)

If you can’t participate in the contest, you can win FTM by referring others. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place referrers will receive 5,000, 3,750, and 1,250 FTM, respectively.

How to participate

Create content
Post it on Twitter and embed the content in the tweet. Tweet with #FTMtothemoon and $FTM. Of course, you can use additional tags and text, but those are mandatory.
Talk to our Telegram bot. Click on “Win 100k FTM Contest”, select a category, and submit your entry.

Remember, the core purpose of the contest is to create content to share and educate people about Fantom.

Rules

The contest will run from October 8, 2020, until November 8, 2020, 23:59 UTC.
We will pick the winners and we’ll reward high-quality content.
Likes and retweets don’t count for the contest but are highly encouraged to share Fantom’s vision and goals.
Likewise, the number of Twitter followers doesn’t count.
A minimum of 50 unique participants is required for the prizes to be paid out. Each participant can submit multiple entries.
We will not award prizes if the quality of submissions is low.
Duplicate / recycled / existing material won’t be accepted.
At least one prize will be given to a written piece. There aren’t many quality Medium articles about Fantom, and we need those.
Written pieces must be published on Medium and may be republished on the ablock Medium blog.
